Over twenty years ago I discovered these beautiful candles. Each year I would save the very best until last. My ritual was to finish my tree with these gorgeous candles, as I believe no tree is properly dressed without them. The aroma of the many Christmas' gone by as I opened the box, evoking nostalgia and the wonderful, happy memories when my girls were little.
As the years rolled by my candles were becoming battered and bruised, I searched the world over to find replacements, for over ten years I continued my search until one day I decided to take matters into my own hands.
I applied for and was granted the sole design rights for our beautiful Christmas Tree Hanging Candles unique to The White Peacock Company.

The White Peacock Company was formed after an extraordinary experience I encountered on my travels. Having flown with British Airways for over thirty years I was fortunate to experience some fascinating countries and their culture.
One of my favourite countries to visit was India, most loved for its diversity, the colours, sounds, the smell and most of all the people.
In a country full of vibrant hustle and bustle, the locals appear to possess a spiritual knowledge of life, love and humanity.
It is here that I discovered the beauty of the White Peacock native to India. The White Peacock is recognised for it's purity of intentions, awakening, spirituality and light. One afternoon as I sat in the grounds of The Gateway Hotel Madurai enjoying afternoon tea, a white bird with startling blue eyes came before me, and without warning the bird rose up and fanned out his exquisite feathers, utterly breathtaking in it's ethereal beauty, such magnificence I had never witnessed before. I was spellbound.
Over the passing years I developed a deep curiosity for these creatures. It was therefore an easy decision to name my business The White Peacock Company as it represents everything we hope to be.
